Galaxy 15 Radio, or G15R for short, is an attempt to make a radio station on no budget, using only content that is either Creative Commons or the aritists \/ authors have given us\u00a0permission\u00a0to use. For the most part open source software is being used. Our scheduler is being run on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sourcefabric.org\/en\/products\/airtime_overview\/\" target=\"_blank\">AirTime<\/a>, and we&#8217;re using <a href=\"http:\/\/butt.sourceforge.net\/\" target=\"_blank\">Butt<\/a> to broadcast the mix. We already broad cast several live shows (Most notably <a href=\"http:\/\/ihavenothing.org\" target=\"_blank\">I Have Nothing<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rantmedia.ca\/newsreal\/\" target=\"_blank\">NewsReal<\/a>) and will be adding more, as well as lots of pre-recored content.<\/p>\n<p>G15R is very young, but we&#8217;ve got some ideas for your listening pleasure.
